«La próxima»: Vives Fierro (19.II – 10.III.2010)

Es para nosotros un gozo anunciarte que el próximo VIERNES 19 (19:30 h.) inauguramos la exposición titulada «Urbs picturata» en la que podrás admirar las últimas obras, todas ellas inéditas, de Antoni Vives Fierro. Buscador incansable y audaz, Vives Fierro reformula su interpretación de los motivos que le fascinan. Con el uso del collage, combina imágenes con textos de modo que el significado de la obra queda abierto: no proviene sólo de ella misma, sino que se multiplica, porque en este diálogo pictórico el espectador añade lo que provee desde su propia captación.

El pintor estará presente y la presentación crítica correrá a cargo de Josep Mª Cadena. En nuestra web ya os anticipamos esta muestra.

Cercador incansable i agosarat, en Vives Fierro reformula la seva interpretació dels motius que li fascinen. Amb l’ús del collage, combina imatges amb textos de manera que el significat de l’obra resta obert: no prové només d’ella mateixa, sinó que es multiplica, perquè en aquest diàleg pictòric l’espectador hi afegeix quelcom de la seva pròpia captació.

It is our pleasure to announce that on Friday 19^th February (19:30 h.) we are inaugurating an exhibition titled «Urbs picturata» («The painted city») where you can admire and appreciate Antoni Vives Fierro‘s latest and inedited works.

As a tireless and audacious seeker, Vives Fierro reformulates his own interpretation about the topics that fascinate him. By using collage, he combines images and texts. From that, the work’s significance opens: it multiplies itself because it doesn’t derive only from the represented work, but -in this artistic dialogue- also from what the spectator adds from his own knowledge and understanding.

The artist will be with us and the critique presentation will be held by Josep Mª Cadena. We look forward to your visit to this exhibition on our web.
