He is one of the few painters who still continues to paint the work outdoors..
At seven years old his family settled in the Selva del Camp, where he studied primary school and where he began his love of drawing. His father, who was a bricklayer, taught him the trade and started working at the age of fourteen. In spite of that, he drew whenever he could. At seventeen he went to work in Barcelona and became a member of the Artistic Circle of Sant Lluc, where he was going to draw a model in the afternoons. Finished the military service he met in Pascual Bueno who gave him classes for four years. Also in Sanvisens and Tarrassó those who gave him very good advice. Since 1967 he has been totally dedicated to painting. That year he won the 1st Painting Prize of Sallent, a town where the painter Guerrero Medina met, who proposed him to be part of the group of the Modern Art Room, questioned by the painters themselves. From that date on, he won important prizes such as the 1st Prizes in Vilassar, Sitges, Tossa … and began his trajectory of exhibitions inside and outside the country. Married to the painter Caridad Gómez since 1976, we find his works in the FC Barcelona Museum, the Museum of The Florida of Hispanic and Latin Art USA, the Art collection of the Port of Barcelona … There are also several the monographic publications that have been dedicated to him.
