In June we are pleased to present to you the work of an artist with a long trajectory! She is JOSEFINA RIPOLL (Barcelona, 1926).
Many of you know the topics of her work: flowers, still life, lemons and fruits. All these are factors through which she expresses what she feels about the things she has in front of her. But in this exhibition, “My world”, Josefina surprises us by introducing maritime issues. With these she captures the first effects that the sea provokes in her. These paintings are the outcome of a vital spirit which doesn’t renounce the introspective research which comes from wisdom and mastery.
The opening, with the artist attendance, will be, God willing, this FRIDAY, June 5th, at 19:30. The critical commentary will be carried out by Josep M. Cadena.
