We are starting the year 2017 with VÍCTOR PEDRA (Barcelona, 1955), who presents to us his dreamlike and symbolic universe. His collection is titled “Víctor Pedra, a song to life”.
His style is surrealistic with clear influences of Picaso’s work. The female figure becomes the protagonist through a volumetric body and wrapped by an iconographic identity.
The personal universe of Pedra goes beyond and it is present through his witty sculptures, made of polychrome iron. We can see some of them in this exhibition, and they express the quality of this artist.
The inauguration attended by the artist, will be this FRIDAY 13rd of January at 19:30 h. Josep M. Cadena will be in charge of the critical commentary.
