With Tomàs Suñol, the Rusiñol Gallery invites us to enjoy the kind of figurative abstraction, in which this painter deepens. Oil and spatula give form to his works.
Through this style and using simple resources deftly managed (especially the shadows, but also the sensitivity to the colors), Suñol carries our spirit to the very heart of things: “Up and Down”.
Together with the artist, Mr. Josep Mª Cadena will be present at the inauguration (Friday, October 15th,19:30 p.m.), from whom we expect an “exegesis” of the message of Suñol’s work.
