Ulpiano Carrasco has come expressly from Cuenca! He travels a lot around the world… This year he will present only three individual exhibitions: that of the Rusiñol Gallery is one of them. An exclamation by Ignasi Cabanas seems to synthesize the impact of this exhibition: «It looks like spring!».    

After four years, the work of Joan Capella (1927-2005) returns to the Rusiñol Gallery. Ignasi Cabanas highlights the opportunity —almost privilege— of this exhibition and its exceptionality, since in the market there is little Capella’s work available.    

We already have our classic Christmas Exhibition: “Now is the time”. On this occasion, the Rusiñol Gallery brings together five painters: Albert Alís, Josep Cruañas, Fabio Hurtado, Benet Sarsanedas and Manuel Ruiz Ortega. Ignasi Cabanas on behalf of all wishes us a Merry Christmas!      

  Through the painter Shigeyoshi KOYAMA (1940) we fully enter in our season 2017-18. His work is a peculiar symbiosis between this Japanese painter and the Catalan Cadaqués. This story started in the 70’s.      

The manager of the Rusiñol Gallery, Mr. Ignasi Cabanas, introduces the new art season and the current artist: Magic Andreu. His extraordinary exhibition matches collages with assemblages and sculptures.      

  Thirty-one years with the Rusiñol Gallery! As every May, we safe this month for a “special” exhibition. This time we have chosen Lluís Almazán Miquel, who died in 2010. We can remember his three previous exhibitions with us.        

Tomàs Suñol consolidates his presence at the Rusiñol Gallery. For the third time, since 2010, he delights us with his narrow alleys, and with the sunrays filtering and projecting their inevitable shadows in nooks and corners. They are a theme and style of the painter who is present here with us today.
