It is not common to inaugurate an exhibition at the Rusiñol Gallery with an art professor. In this case, we had LORENZO GONZÁLEZ, professor in the Fine Arts Faculty at the University of Salamanca. The title of the exhibition is “Interiors” and it is the result of the collaboration between Dalmau and Rusiñol Galleries.    

“El Pele” —as colleagues and friends know Pelegero Agustí— brings us from Xàtiva this exhibition entitled “Lived landscapes”. So, his works are what they are: lived landscapes, where water is the main protagonist.    

Today we are having a very special visit: Pilarín Bayés. In fact, the very first act of the inauguration has been happened at the entrance of the Rusiñol Gallery: the artist —surrounded by a large number of young and less young— has devoted some time to sign copies of her book “My life”.    

“When you stop” is a title that reflects the mentality of Jordi Isern: «I try to transmit peace, tranquility in the middle of a period of time that elapses very quickly. With my work I wish to invite you to stop and think, and to live the passion for nature, which is our mother and to we have to respect».   […]

  Eduard Malvehy has been exhibiting at the Rusiñol Gallery from a long time: his most recent exhibition was three years ago and the current exhibition is the sixth with us. From each author we can get a message: in this case, we welcome the placid painting of Malvehy, precisely when we have returned to the noise and madness of the work calendar. […]

  We are starting the new art season. The Rusiñol Gallery’s director, Mr. Ignasi Cabanas, welcomes the attendees. After salutations, Mr. Cabanas reminds us that this is the third Sabrina Sampere’s individual exhibition at the Rusiñol Gallery. The first one was in 2002 when a very young artist appeared to the general audience of our city.        

  Ignasi Cabanas welcomes Juan Luis Jardí. “This is the third Jardí’s individual exhibition that we introduce at our gallery. As always, the work of Jardí leaves nobody indifferent”.        

The Rusiñol Gallery, managed by the Cabanas family —Ignasi and Victòria— in coordination with Carme, reaches its 32ndanniversary.   The director of the Rusiñol Gallery, Mr. Ignasi Cabanas, is presenting the artist Tatiana Blanqué: “Tatiana is a young painter, very creative; we have known each other for a long time and we are very happy to present her today”.    

  The painter Josep Domènech-Sánchez is coming back to the Rusiñol Gallery. We feel very happy for this! Since 2014 we were missing the friendly face of this painter. It isn’t surprising the large number of persons who wanted joint him in this inauguration. His work —characterized by quietude and placidity— also attracts our spirits.
